There’s some irony in the fact that, by these people making “taking Covid seriously” their identity, they’ve turned into what they’ve accused trumpers of being for the past year. For the past year we’ve heard that Trump voters are anti-science and are just prolonging the pandemic, not following the science, etc. well...now Biden’s camp is ignoring the science (wearing masks inside once fully vaccinated, acting like outdoor camps are dangerous, etc) and sticking to their Covid values even though vaccines have changed the situation. So basically, they’ve become what they’ve spent the last year hating.

Personally, I'm not buying that "vaccines have changed the situation" other than psychologically. Cases were falling before the vaccine rollout and at the time the stories were that vaccines had not yet been distributed enough to explain the drops in cases around the US. That was swept under the carpet. I don't have proof but do believe honest science will show that the pandemic had mostly run its course in the US and vaccines are getting credit where it isn't due. As usual.

Everything else you said I agree 100% cheers.
